Daily Encouragement

God speaks to multiple times daily, yet how many times do we miss it? Better question-how many do we hear Him? If we were really honest with ourselves, we would probably be fearful of the answer. Take the time to slow down a tad bit more. Look out into the world today with an expectant heart. Expect to hear God in the words of a stranger, or to see God in the many blessing of not catching a red light while your late to work or by passing that accident that could of been you. Most importantly don't forget to give God! We can't fathom the struggles that our co-worker is holding or the unbearable pain that the lady standing next to you in line is trying to manage. Slow down and reach out today, just as The Lord reaches out to us on a daily basis!

Where shall I go from your Spirit?Or where shall I flee from your presence? If I ascend to heaven, you are there! If I make my bed in Sheol, you are there! If I take the wings of the morning and dwell in the uttermost parts of the sea, even there your hand shall lead me,and your right hand shall hold me.

Disappointment but not defeat!

After losing nearly 100 lbs from my gastric sleeve operation, I've done something I said would never happen...gain weight back😔 No matter how many times I was told weight loss surgery is not a "miracle drug," I was not prepared for this. Though I sit in dissapointment, I'm not defeated! I love the person that God has made me. My beauty is not defined by a number on a scale or the measurement of my waistline. But I still desire a fit life and I will not give up. My future is to bright to be intimidated by the few steps back that has occured. 

Where do we begin?

Let me start by saying, I have been one of those off and on again bloggers:( Starting with some grand idea or notion to type, but letting it fall by the way side-over and over again. Yet, here is my hello again. Over the years I have learned I have a true desire to write. It not only helps me gather and sort through my thoughts, but it also allows time for meditation. So I am going to give this a try again with the hope of not only sharing my thoughts and experiences, but also gaining some new perspective along the way. I look forward to meeting and building great relationships more of my family in Christ across the world. I pray that I not only am able to inspire other, but that we can all help each other in this journey of life. Learning, caring, fellowshipping, building, equipping, discipling, and loving each other along the way!
